When we moved from London to Atlanta, Georgia, I ended up with a basement full of boxes. Following in the footsteps of architect Frank O Gehry -- I built furniture out of them.

These couches are entirely made of cardboard, topped with memory foam and upholstered. It took me weeks of designing and planning - children would be using them and I had to make sure the stresses put on the backs could support the abuse. It was a huge challenge and took me months to complete; but 8 years later, they’re still solid as a rock and I’ve even re-upholstered them ;)
